Location

The unspoilt Ceredigion (Cardiganshire) countryside is just two to three hours’ drive from Cardiff, Bristol and Birmingham, and the Pembrokeshire and Brecon Beacons national parks make for easy day trips.
The Ceredigion Heritage Coast is a 20 minute country drive from Pant yr Hwch. Many of our guests spend their time beach hopping along the coast from the scenic Thomas Nash designed Georgian splendour of Aberaeron, to the busy summer beach resort of New Quay and the quieter lesser known beaches of Cei Bach, Llangrannog and the National Trust beaches of Mwnt and Penbryn and a myriad of other beaches and coves, too many to mention. This stretch of coast is a Marine Nature Reserve – the first offshore conservation area of its kind in the UK - where its possible to take boat trips out into the bay to view the resident school of dolphins, seals and wide array of sea birds.

Even closer to home is the local village of Llanwnnen, which is within walking distance of the farm and has a village post office/shop which is handy for essentials as well as two pubs! Lampeter is a short drive away and has a wider range of shops, restaurants and pubs, as well as Conti’s Cafe, a local institution renowned for its homemade ice cream.
